Organizations
Bixi empowers organizations of all types and sizes, whether businesses, government institutions, or charities, to seamlessly conduct fintech operations through a unified payment gateway. This gateway facilitates connections with various wallets and payment service providers.
The concept of “organizations” in Bixi is central to group activities and facilitate structured access control and collaboration across different levels. In this context, every Bixi customer is considered an organization. Each organization can have multiple individual user accounts to enable role-based access and functionality. A user account represents an individual on the platform and each user can be assigned specific API permissions. For instance, an organization might have one user account dedicated to API payment operations, and another focused on accounting and bookkeeping with access to routes that perform solely these operations. Each user account is expected to be tied to a single, physical individual to comply with Know Your Customer (KYC) and regulatory requirements.
Users have the ability to update their account credentials, including their password, email address, phone number, and avatar photo, directly from the application dashboard. However, certain personal details—such as name, sex, and birthdate—cannot be modified by users for compliance purposes. If an organization needs to update these details for a user, they must contact support.
